The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the combatants met personally to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Ex two-time unified title holder Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead targeted former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Paul stated.
Size Difference
As the two fighters met for the usual stare-down, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly proceeding.
