Vinted Users Voice Frustration Regarding Sizing Changes
Vinted users have been reacting angrily following a change that caused items being listed as the wrong size.
The second-hand shopping app has updated its sizing categories for women's and children's clothes without notifying all users about the change.

Countless users and merchants are expressing on platforms claiming that product pages now present a modified sizing category than originally posted due to the recalibration.
Vinted explained the revised method more closely matches similar services.
The platform has recommended to examine their items and adjust the sizing manually when needed, causing user dissatisfaction.
Sizing System Modifications
Before the change, the measurements included numerical and alphabetical indicators, such as S/8 or M/10.
The updated approach includes an alphabetical indicator and numerical range like S/UK 8-10.
For certain items, the sizing has been recategorised - for example a size L was formerly size 12 but is now a UK 16-18.

Frankie Bridger, who makes TikTok content about plus-size fashion, stated the update "complicates both purchasing and selling".
"Few clothing companies classify XL as 20-22," which is what Vinted now does.
A different member, from Glasgow, said garments she listed on Vinted with size 14 labels were displaying on the service as measurements 20-22.
"If anyone [who is] size 20-22 buys them they're going to be very disappointed," she stated.
Necessary Adjustments
Charlotte Lunn, located in England, explained she became annoyed by the change as she had to manually change the measurements for "each individual item".
"Personally, this is quite irritating, since I have chronic health issues and Vinted sales have been crucial following partial earnings loss," she said.
Platform Context
The app has more than 100 million shoppers, comprising 18 million UK members.
It has become a favored option compared to resale services such as eBay and Depop.
This represents another occasion where an unanticipated change within the service has received backlash: earlier, Vinted reversed a change regarding delivery choices following member complaints.
